Nouvelle, is looking  for only experienced talented, motivated people to join Sales & Interior Designer team. This position will be responsible for ensuring our customers will have an incomparable customer experience throughout the in-store shopping experience. If you’re the type who sees a beautifully designed space and instantly envisions how to elevate it—this is for you.

If you are excited by high end products, able to talk to tons of people, this might be the role for you. We’re looking for someone who is excited to learn and have opportunities put in front of them.

Our designers will work in both a remote and in-store capacity. Designers report to the management team, so clear communication skills, ability to make presentations and good customer service skills are essential. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Represent our brand / products with a modern image and professionalism.

- Have a positive can-do attitude every day

- You will be expected to greet everyone as soon as they walk in to help maintain our positive and welcoming environment

-You can guide a client from introduction to final purchase without losing momentum.

-You appreciate high-end, contemporary furnishings and can confidently explain their value.

- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors

- Sales representative ( A minimum 2 years of experience in Modern Furniture sales )

- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

- Experienced Interior Designer

- Great people skills, friendly, maximizing effective and productive interaction to everyone's benefit, good judgment & proactive problem solving

- Responding quickly and efficiently to all customer emails including follow up to ensure needs were met

- Educating customers on our products

- Monitoring customer purchases through the order, delivery, and installation process

- Following and communicating company Policies & Procedures when and where needed

- Ability to drive to customers’ residences and businesses for makeovers.

- Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry

- Undertake design project from concept to completion

-Represent high-end design with knowledge, passion, and professionalism

- Ensure you meet and exceed sale goals

-  We have high expectations regarding your familiarity with our brands and product selection. It is important that you consistently strive to expand your knowledge and understanding. We encourage you to utilize your free time at work to familiarize yourself with our brands, and please understand that you may be required to review product lines outside of regular working hours. Your dedication to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with our offerings will greatly contribute to your success in this role.

- In this role, you will have the responsibility of answering phone calls and initiating communication with clients and partners via phone and email

- As part of our team, it will be expected of you to ensure that the showroom is consistently appealing and presentable to clients. This includes maintaining cleanliness, organizing materials, and creating a visually pleasing environment that reflects our commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years in Modern Furniture sales and/or Interior Design preferred

Interior Design and relevant experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (professional portfolio highly recommended)

Must be highly motivated and a self-starter

Communication and presentation skills

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, rendering software or other design programs

Computer savvy is a must (Outlook, PowerPoint, POS or CRM systems)

Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)

Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques

Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room and office

Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing

Licensed to drive preferred

Ability to travel locally or out of state

Position Type: Interior Design Intern

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented Interior Design students or recent graduates to join our team for a hands-on internship opportunity. This is a chance to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working on exciting design projects and learning from a team of seasoned professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

-Strong proficiency in design software, including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and other relevant design software (e.g., Design Files, Chief Architect, etc.). 

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. 

-Strong attention to detail and a passion for interior design and furniture. 

-Previous experience or coursework in interior design is a plus. 

-Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at once. 

-Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative and creative workspace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Shadowing: Start by shadowing our Head Interior Designer to observe and learn about the design process, client interactions, and project management. 

-Client Meetings: Attend client meetings alongside the Head Interior Designer to gain insight into designer-client communication and the collaboration process. 

-Project Assistance: Assist in various design projects by helping with 3D renderings, mood boards, and other design-related tasks. 

-Design Software: Create 2D and 3D models, floor plans, and design layouts using design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software (e.g., Design Files, Chief Architect, etc.). 

-Client Home Visits: Occasionally visit client homes to gather measurements of the space and assist in preparing accurate design layouts. 

-Furniture Customization: Contribute to the design and customization of furniture pieces, working closely with our team to bring design ideas to life. 

-Research: Assist in researching new trends in furniture, materials, and interior design to help shape the direction of future projects. 

-Administrative Support: Help with administrative tasks and day-to-day operations as needed.
